Job Description:
About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Float Teacher to join our team. As a Float Teacher, you will be
responsible for providing high-quality care and education to
children of all ages for all locations in the Cleveland area
including Ridge Road, Broadway, Arbor Park, Kinsman and St. Clair.
You will work closely with our team of educators to create a safe
and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.
Your main goal will be to ensure that all children in your care
receive the attention and support they need to thrive.Minimum
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months experience working with toddlers in a licensed
childcare center or comparable setting
- Ability to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background CheckPreferred
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or
related field and 1+ years of experience working with children in a
classroom setting
- Experience working with children of all ages
- CPL III or Child Development Associate Certification upon hire
(CDA sponsorship available)
- CPR and First Aide CertifiedResponsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children of all
ages
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning
and development
- Collaborate with other educators to plan and implement
age-appropriate activities
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their
child's progress
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development and
progressSkills:As a Float Teacher, you will use your expertise in
early childhood education to provide high-quality care and
education to children of all ages. You will use your strong
communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other
educators and communicate regularly with parents. Your attention to
detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining
accurate records of each child's development and progress.
Additionally, your ability to work in a diverse and inclusive
environment will be crucial in creating a safe and nurturing
environment that promotes learning and development for all children
